My Story
The first time I laid eyes on a camera, I was in love.
I was just 14 years old, when I was at Jamaa Ifana Square in Marrakech City.
I was sitting at a cafe, waiting on my mother to shop, when a man sat at the table next to me.
Minding his own business, he noticed my fascination in his camera sitting across the table from where he sat.
" Take a photo! It will last longer " he joked to me.
From there, we sat next to each other, sipping coffee, while he showed me his Cannon 400D. He explained that you can take a photo, but portray it a variety of different ways.
This is when I began to appreciate photography as an art - the art in being able to capture every day life, but make it feel like a special moment.
